THERE WAS OBVIOUSLY A LOT GOING ON. between going to the art shack and trying to keep the kids a bit oblivious to the whole situation primm was going to (even when they had questions about the obvious signs of stress and heavier police presence just about everywhere) and trying to help lucia through the traumatic experience of having a missing family member, natalie was just feeling absolutely exhausted and empty. there were few things that were able to spark immediate joy in the blonde, but if it was one thing, it was disney. while she may not have had a lot of fond childhood memories, disney animations were always a happy memory to her, remembering little elementary school-aged natalie always getting lost in the fantasies showed. she especially loved aurora’s pink dress, even wrapping herself in a pink beach towel and dancing around to ‘once upon a dream.’ at a time like this, it may have seemed insensitive to those around her to go to an amusement park, but more so it was for her own stability. just simply walking down main street after the opening gates gave her a calmness she couldn’t explain, as if she was walking into a world of perfection. so as her and hansol stood in the waiting lines of the entrance, she felt an extreme excitement rushing through her, despite all that was going on. she couldn’t help but jump on the balls of her feet, peaking over those in front of her as if that would make the line go quicker. with a smile of appreciation, she looked over at hansol. “thank you for bringing me,” even if it was her idea to come, she would thank him endlessly for being her disney partner in crime. there was no denying natalie missed her own brothers back in arizona, even if they hadn’t shown her acceptance. having hansol at her side filled some of that void and provided her with an affirmation she didn’t know she direly needed until she was shown it. “do you think we can dole whip while we’re here? ooh, or maybe the beignets that are just like the ones tiana makes in princess and the frog!” / @suhansol
