Fish and Water
Taikoubou sat meditating, he might as well if he was going to wait for Suupuu to get some food. Eyes closed. Legs crossed. He stayed there completely still. No actually he had fallen asleep only a few seconds of meditation.
"Does it /always/ have to be about me? Geez, even after all this time you still love to embarrass me." Suigetsu despised the teasing, but everyone adored his reactions to the tease. It was a lose-lose situation. "This sucks."
”No, it doesn’t always have to be about you, but ever since you arrived at my home, you never talked about myself. However, I suppose that teasing you is a high point of your visit.”
Losing grip of his casual attitude, Suigetsu's head lifted back to straighten in order to face Sasuke in a snap. "Oi! We don't talk about that!" Pursing his lips together, his eyes fell. "That ain't even true to begin with." He followed suit with a sigh. "I don't know how you can live with the guy, let alone even stand him."
”Why can’t we talk about that? It’s my favorite subject when it comes to you. I love the way you deny it, the immediate reaction, the body language—wow. You really are quite a character you know.” His grin only widened a bit. “Oh no. Don’t you change the subject back to Naruto. We both know that isn’t who you want to talk about.”
"Eh?" Suigetsu blinked. "Ppfft! Haha-..!" His head leaned backward while he boasted in a laughter he had attempted to hold within him. "Heh. Yeah, Sasuke. I'd rather kill the Kit than argue with him. Haha. I /really/ hate his speeches, too."
”Oh Suigetsu, I wonder if anyone else has seen past that macho persona over yours to that adorable submissive core. At least you’re right about the speech part; they can be a bit overdone.”
Suigetsu's eyes narrowed at the assumption Sasuke presented to him. "Tch-..." An eye-roll. "I don't care about what he said.." When, it was what impaired him the most regarding his and Naruto's turbulent relationship. "He's stupid."
”Yeah, because your comeback to that was just on such an intellectual level. You think with your sword don’t you?” He glanced away momentarily after realizing what he said. “I meant the literal one…not the—figurative one…”
"...?" So much for that glass of water he expected. Suigetsu should've known, anyway. Sasuke wasn't the socially brightest man he'd ever met. Lord knew that Suigetsu wasn't about to get up. "And? I'll just leave when he comes. I'm not scared of him. He better not open his giant trap."
“I can’t help but find it hilarious that you still have such a colorful attitude and an interesting way with words. Plus, we all know that ‘giant trap’ was meant to be opened even when no one wants such a thing.” Closing his book, he peered over to the other sitting next to me.
“Or do you not want to be offended so harshly by him like the last time? I never expected him to put up such an argument to be honest.”
Suigetsu, as soon as he reached the couch, plopped down upon the furniture with a relaxed sigh. His head hung off of the back of it. He nearly closed his eyes from how comfortable he was. "Water's cool, yeah. You know how much I love my water." Suigetsu told Sasuke.
”It’s good to know that you want some. There’s plenty in the kitchen.” The raven responded as he sat down next to the other, picked up the book, and started to read once again. He was such a terrible host. “How long are you planning to lounge about anyway? Naruto could come anytime you know.”
