also if you can’t keep a bandaid over it/it keeps falling off, putting bandaids on your thumbs work well too. waterproof still works on touch screens.
that’s also a really good idea too, i’ll have to try that sometime :o thank you so much!!

hi! i was wondering how you made the back part for your painwheel cosplay?
Hi! OK this was a while ago but I’ll explain it as best I can:
The wheel itself was carved from insulation foam (those big pink boards you get at Home Depot, I use that for literally every prop I’ve made hahaha). The spine was made with some flexible plastic tube, also from Home Depot, wrapped with squares of... hm, it looks like thick craft foam? I don’t remember exactly what I used. The spine has a thick wire in it to hold the shape, and then at the bottom I wrapped that wire around a belt, which is how it’s held on at the waist.
The top part of the spine is held to my upper back with a couple loops of fabric, like a backpack (if you look at the photoset on this blog, you can see the loops and how they go around the spine in a few photos). I wanted to avoid this for a while because I thought it wouldn’t look good, but I used the same fabric that the dress was made from and it ended up not being too noticeable at all. And, more importantly, it was super sturdy and held up for an entire day at a crowded convention.
I think that’s about it! Let me know if anything didn’t make sense and I can try to clarify.
youre one of my favorite mutuals and i love your art to bits and pieces!!
who's your fave child me or morgan (dirk)
clearly my fave child is Owain. Who’re you two? I don’t remember having any children named Lucina or Morgan. I just have no clue how I could decide between two children that aren’t even mine?
(Diana u sure know how to break ur father’s heart)
Anti-honesty hour. Ask me anything and I will respond with blatant lies.
I ice skate on Mondays and dance on Tuesdays!
dude, you’re literally so talented.
something related. Well the only thing I had on my schedule this year was that on Mondays and Wednesdays I volunteered at a local preschool to teach literacy to 3-5 y/o children in a low-income neighborhood
TELL ME AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOURSELF AND I WILL REPLY WITH AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT MYSELF THAT I THINK OF WHEN I READ YOURS. IT MAY BE ENTIRELY RELATED, OR ONLY RELATED IN THE WEIRDEST, BROADEST DEFINITIONS.
