Taking That Step Into Adulthood
So here we go. My first official blog post on my page. Not gonna lie its a bit intimidating to have this whole page to fill up with my random ass thoughts. So I guess whats been going on lately is work... work work work. You're probably thinking from what I just typed, I would be complaining about working to much and that I am in dire need of a break... But you would be terribly wrong. Im starving over here begging for jobs to get my foot in the door of a anything involving graphic design but I come out empty handed every time. Shits getting old real fast!
No, this isnt the tone I want to set for this blog at all but at the moment my mind is running in circles trying to get a stable income that I can semi comfortably live on. Esp since im moving to Monticello with my girlfriend here in a few weeks. Exciting new chapter of my life is about to begin and its all over the place. The big part of me is definitely ready to jump in head first and tackle this like its any other task ive come upon... Though the itty bitty voice in the back of my head is like damn! Life is starting now man... get your shit together and get your ass moving bc no one is here to hold your hand anymore. I feel like decking the little pussy at times but he puts me in a weird place where I end up being confused. Im only 23 and I have a lot of life to live and Im extremely excited! Just wish my path was a little more clear cut at times. Im guessing most people feel this way.
I've gotten in the NYM Production studios a good amount this summer and Im really excited about writing and producing some of my tracks... I have never been much for writing rap but eh I figure I dont have to rely on anyone else playing the instrumental this way. Im working on this song called "Growing Pains" and hoping to have ThesisHimself & Suite Ava on it... its super retro but I love the instrumental.
Speaking of Thesis and Suite Ava... Both of those kids are working on some great new work! Im super excited for the rest of the world to hear them. IK how intimidating it is to put your work out there for the masses to crit their new tracks. DAMN! its crazy!!!! I can only hope the best for them. Well until next time.
