DARVEY S07E06 ending scene feels: a summary
DONNA: “It’s the key to your apartment.”
(No Donna, why are you returning that? you’re probably gonna live together soon anyway so stop that)
DONNA: “I didn’t know about you and Paula, Harvey. And I kept it from you, and I don’t wanna keep it from you because I’m happy for you.”
HARVEY: “Donna-”
DONNA: “I said I wanted more, and I got what I wanted.”
DONNA: “But when you told me about the two of you, for a second there -”
HARVEY: “I get it.”
DONNA: “You do?”
HARVEY: “I remember how I felt when I found out about you and Stephen Huntley. And I told you before, it bothered me.”
“But it doesn’t mean that -”
DONNA: “Exactly.”
(No, wait! It doesn’t mean WHAT??? No! Go finish that sentence, Harvey!)
DONNA: “I really am happy for you Harvey.”
(Are you, Donna? Are you really?)
HARVEY: “Thanks, Donna.” (Oh come on, you believe her?)
(Well you certainly don’t look happy for yourself, Harvey.)
(I mean look at that face. Is that the face of someone in a happy relationship with his girlfriend/ex-therapist?)
(My poor darling Donna. Why did you lie? That is not the face of someone who’s happy for the person she loves.)
(Well, look at that. What a beautiful shot of my babies in their respective offices right after their missed chance of confronting their love for each other.)
(OMG HARVEY STOP LOOKING TOWARDS HER OFFICE AND START DOING SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER)
Oh well. At least we know that Mark Meadows is gonna push them to address this elephant in the room in the next episodes. DARVEY IS ALIVE
