im really proud of this one first time doing this sort of style of art and am also really proud that this is not 3d?? idk i think thats a pretty cool achievement for me

an old album cover design I did for 1000 Eyes' incredible work "Duality". the song made me think of loneliness—a wide open field with old power lines, contained within the hollow body of a discarded android. the little cat represents the tiny spark of hope to keep going, to find someone else and make a connection. I was really inspired by SIGNALIS and the artist sukinapan when making this.
