So this is a rough first-pass for making the map featured in the ending sequence of Boku no Hero Academia’s second season. The desire came mostly from my love of world-building and lore creation for my own spin on this fantasy-based world of quirks and heroes, but there wasn’t a whole lot of references or assets I could use to really get my thoughts onto paper.
So, as I sometimes tend to do: I made a template myself!
The hardest part was (is?) trying to make terrain that is neither too simplistic nor too detailed, and roughly aligns with what was featured in the split-second that the actual map is shown on-screen during the ending sequence. I also suck at remembering how climate functions across a massive continent, so some of it might not make a ton of sense.
I’m gonna work out all the details first so I’m happy with it, but I’d like to release the finished map in multiple forms for other people to use, since I know there’s a lot of others who really like this AU, and I’ve seen a ton of creativity in how everyone creates their own unique version of it!
