Killing Time | Ryuji and Sukuna
@scheminggreen
Ryuji was... pretty laid-back when it came to his studies, so he had plenty of free time most days. More than he needed to have, really, but no one expected anything out of him anyway, so who cares? He mostly just went between the movie theater and the arcade, and Ryuji decided to waste time at the latter today.
He’d played a few of the games, but he’d gotten tired of it after multiple plays. Maybe he should invite Akira here? But maybe he was busy. Akira seemed much more studious than Ryuji was, after all. As he held his phone and contemplating texting Akira, he noticed a few people beginning to gather at one of the machines, more than the usual amount of people who lingered around any one game.
Curious, Ryuji wandered over himself. He heard muttering, but he couldn’t really tell if the small crowd was irritated or impressed with this kid currently using the machine. Apparently he’d been on this one game for a while, but he was doing so well that people didn’t want to interrupt. Still, isn’t it kind of rude to hold up a line like that? He could just keep playing after other people had a turn.
“Yo, kid, are you almost done? I don’t mean to ruin your fun or nothin’, but you kinda got a line forming behind you.”
