“Angelo.” His name was said with a low seductive voice passing painted lips from a man of considerable size and an almost unnatural draw. He was comfortably sat in a chair that looked much like a throne a king would own and opposite him he gestured for Angelo to sit as well.
He had summoned him to his ‘office’ for the purpose of a job and to discuss what was expected of the gunslinger and more importantly what his payment would be for completing the task. The office was dark as all window shutters had been shut to block out the harsh rays of the two stars. The only light source coming from the candles that decorated the walls and a candelabra placed on the coffee table between them.
DIO’s fingers steepled together as he patiently waited for Angelo to take his seat, the light from his candles never seeming to reach his face, his eyes the only real distinguishable features that could be made out in the low light.
“I would like for you to keep an eye on my son, he left home not too long ago and is prone to getting in trouble.” He let out a soft sigh, like an exhausted father that wanted nothing more than to bring his unruly son home, but was just barely respecting his wishes to let him wander, “his name is Giorno Giovanna.”
The truth however, he had no love for him, not once he confirmed his son would never side with him. He had removed his very existence from every timeline in his original world once he learned that no matter what he did every outcome was the same. He would rebel. It was a pity as it would have been interesting to have him by his side.
There was no time for such thoughts however as he was attempting to have someone hunt down ‘his’ son. The son he allowed to exist as a Joestar and help him unwittingly gather the corpse part that had ended up on his planet... and perhaps look into these Plant beings. Their existence was a curiosity that he was fascinated by but didn’t want to spend time looking into himself.
“You’ll be rewarded handsomely of course for keeping him out of trouble.”
