11. What does Knives consider his greatest failing?
Sad HCs from the Knife || Accepting
| 🗡 | Once, he would have considered the partial success of the Big Fall his greatest failing. It had not wiped out enough humans to ensure their extinction, thanks to the resourcefulness of Rem and possibly the efforts of other skeleton crew on the other ships. If he had succeeded wholly then, he would not have had to live to see himself through the lens of the humans, and learn to hate it.
Now, the greatest failing, he knows. He does. Its hard still to open the lid on that box, it threatens to consume him when he thoughts stray to it. Perhaps he learned too soon. Perhaps he was meant to burn out and never see a better future. He'll never know for certain.
Now, he was on the edge of a gaping abyss and trying to cross it without falling in.
