Hello! Long time no see... My life fell apart last year and writing became the last thing on my mind. In the mist of it still being in shabbles I've managed to start writing again. As an apology here is snippet from Sumayls frist chapter.

Sumayl sat at a table with other Jamalian soldiers screaming numbers while three dice and coin hit the table. A few local women surrounded them, one with golden hair sat on his lap due to him insisting she was good luck. Sumayl down a fourth pint of ale, “Be a dear and kiss these for me. I’m hoping for a fifteen,” the girl did as she was told, followed by kissing him on the lips. With a shake of his hand, he released the die. The faces added to ten. A young soldier no older than eighteen cheered while collecting gold coins from his opponents. Sumayl loved tavern life. The energy of it all; the drinks, the gambling, the drinks, the patrons singing, the drinks, the men and women throwing themselves at his feet for his choosing. The only chance any one of them get to fuck a nobleman. Here away from the prying eye of his judgmental elders, he was like one of the Gods. All powerful. All knowing. Holding their fate in his hands. Hell, with all his scars and battle wounds he’d received over the years he could be considered immortal. The dice rolled again. “Fuck!” he yelled, his golden hand slamming more coins on the table for the taking. “Sorry Lieutenant.” “I’ll forgive you for taking all my gold if you buy me another ale. If not, from sunrise to sunset tomorrow, you’ll be shooting targets blindfolded,” Sumayl told the boy. The young man's eyes widen. It wouldn't be the first time Sumayl made the archers shoot blindfolded. Many of them had to make trips to see Aza due to an arrow injury. The boy didn't seem to want see Aza, so he nodded, scooping up his winnings and headed to the bar as quickly as he could. His other hand caressed the girl on his lap. “How about after this we go back to the house I’m staying at for some fun?” he asked, getting met with giggling kisses.

Do you ever just have a brain hiccup when it comes to information while writing? Like you're thinking one think but you put down something else thinking it's right and not realize it until later?

Like Sumayl was talking to this one side character how she would've been Queen Dowager if she married the now dead king but I wrote Queen Regent instead and only realized my mistake like three paragraphs later

"You know you're not supposed to push yourself. You're an old man and that shoulder of yours is even older than that," Sumayl teased.

"Fuck off, I'm not even a year older than you. Now stop being an ass and help me up,"

"What's the magic word?"

"I swear to all the Gods Sumayl, you impossible dick, as soon as my shoulder stops hurting I'm taking a dagger to that pretty little face of yours."

"Charm gets you nowhere, friend," Sumayl smirked, looking both like the charming prince he dreamed of being and the smug cock he always has been.

For a split second, Galib thought about helping himself up. However, he learned the hard way in the past two years that it's easier to have assistance when his shoulder starts causing him trouble. Letting out a deep sigh, he said, "Cunt.”

"Try again."

"Try again my ass!" Galib shouted, jolting halfway off the ground. Pain shot through his body. He grabbed his shoulder and fell sideways back to the ground. He spoke through his gritted teeth and said, "It's been cunt for fourteen years! And you changed it?"

"It's fucker now," he said gleefully, holding his metal hand out for Galib. "But since you tried I'll help you free of charge."

Well, @inky-duchess there are speculations as to who my father is, none are true due to no one believing my father wouldn't have cheated on his wife. Then there are lies about how many little bastards I've fathered. I wish I could tell if I have or not, but it can't be as high as everyone says it is. Not to mention the lies that I'm incompetent as a lieutenant

I wish people didn't know about my drinking habits. Mostly for my mom sake. She has enough to worry about, my reputation has a drunk shouldn't be one.

“Or she was sent by Iuvenis for your death.” Galib muttered; my eyes narrowed at him.

Sumayl wrapped an arm around his superior's neck, turning him to look at me. A devilish gin painted on his face, “And what an honorable and glorious death it would be if this beautiful young lady was the cause.”

Childhood best friends, Galib and Sumayl. Galib is the cautious and slightly hot-headed one, while Sumayl is the reckless charmer. Where one lacks then other excels. Another way to look at it that they're two halves of a whole idiot

Sorry, this took so long; I had to wait until my sister got back to hand my nephew off.

7. You have the key to immortality in your hands. But not for free. If you want it, as a price, your worst enemy also gains immortality. Is it worth it? 

OF COURSE! I mean, life is always much more fun when you have someone to sword fight with. Not only that but it would be one big ‘Fuck you’ to the Three Brothers of Death.

10. If a lot of people, possibly innocent people, have to die in order to make a real change, is it worth it? Can you live with their deaths even if it helps people in the present?

Sometimes certain things have to be done for a real change. The last war Providence had many many centuries ago, King Silvius’s village was destroyed by Blasen soldiers, killing everyone but him. This pain from losing everything caused him to unite all in Providence and drive those from Blasor back. While painful to say the loss of lives, both innocent and guilty, may be needed if something is to change; and as a soldier, I have to live with their deaths, whether I want to or not.

24. How do you feel about tears? Are they cowardly and weak? Do you cry? Would you consider that shameful?

Tears are a natural part of living. No one should ever be a shame for their emotions, those who cry are the bravest of them all *glances at Galib who may have one emotion*.
