Revisiting My Writings
After reading through my blog posts, one thing became so clear. I have grown greatly in my knowledge and experience of Public Relations Designs and publications.
Before I took this class, I felt pretty shaky in the world of design. I knew what I felt looked good, but not sure how to get there. Now, with all of the tools on my belt, I can accomplish my vision seamlessly.
When designing PR publications, having the right tools is key. Adobe Photoshop and Indesign, as well as Canva, just to name my personal favorites. Learning these programs can be difficult, but creates excellent designs.
However, one thing I have really learned and would advise, is to trust your gut. You know all the rules and guidelines, but anyone can learn those. What makes a great design is your personal touch. While following the guidelines and your own personal experience, you can create some pretty awesome work.
