Mare Nick has been running Zootopia for some time, and Pray have started to state he tweets them badly, as the problems get worse and worse, Nick hires a rabbit secretary, what Nick did not expect was to fall in love with said secretary, trying not to show that he likes her in that way, but Nick hits on her time to time, with out thinking
Oh this sounds cool.
Like Nick is actually a really good Mayor of Zootopia. Like really good, notable in history. All his initial policies and agendas are originally fair and just towards everyone in Zootopia. However through political committees, and compromises in City Hall just to get things through, things get wrapped. And all the stuff that does actually work, has like twenty thousand loops holes that mammals take advantage of, and Nick has no way of close.
Of course, most mammals see this all as Nick being a terrible mammal. Especially prey, who don’t trust him twice as much because he’s a fox. They say he lied and said what he needed to get elected and now just sits around.
His staff knows differently, however, because Nick stays late like every night and tries to work stuff out with them, and takes meetings with like everyone no matter how busy he is. But election season is coming up, and Nick’s ratings are not great, so a senior staff member suggests hiring a prey mammal to help boost some ratings.
Nick begrudgingly agrees, because like the city needs him. So some of senior staff set up interviews, and Judy applies the Mammal Inclusion policy is a mess and the ZPD rejected her, and she’s stuck in the city. One of Nick’s advisers knows Judy is the right choice like two seconds into the interview, and basically hires her on the spot.
Now, Judy is excited about her new job, even though it is just a secretary job she is way over qualified over. But when she arrives for her first day of work, she finds out she’s working for Mayor Nick Wilde. Instantly she knows her whole hiring was like a grab for votes, and the idea of the working the fox makes her fur stand on edge. However she is a sensible mammal, so she doesn’t quit, and decides to stick around till she finds another job. She just decides she has to put up with Nick till then.
Their relationship is rocky at the start. Mostly because Judy made it clear she knew it was all for a votes, and Nick is just like “Yeah, everything I do is for votes,”. But the more Judy works there the more she notices Nick is actually a great mayor, who puts the city above like his own personal life. And maybe Nick isn’t like terrible to work with. Nick goes through the same thing, he kind of finds Judy to be kind of entitled and stuck in farm views. But over time he realizes Judy is really passionate and wants to help and do good by other mammals. Not to mention her ideas aren’t like half bad, and he can sell them really easy to committee members with like little need for compromises.
And you know, Judy’s cute and sweet, and he starts to fall for her. But it’s like a bad cliche, and Nick is not going to let that happen. Like he’ll recommend really good restaurants, maybe buy her lunch one or twice (along with like the rest of the office), and tease her lightly cause it’s fun. But he will not fall for her.
Only it’s way too late for him to stop it, and his teasing is like borderline flirty, and no he does not need one of his senior advisers to tell him that. But also Judy hasn’t like say anything, and the rabbit is smart. And Nick will like try his best not to flirt, but like it just keeps happening, and sometimes Judy flirts back which really doesn’t help.
Come election time, Nick promotes Judy to be like his assistant mayor (like for real, not just like secretary with a title, no like actually run the city with him). And a month after winning the election, the two start dating after making sure they can without a scandal or breaking some kind of law.
you still doing ask prompt? if u r, i have an idea; judy never thought she had a thing for fox in blue until she saw nick in uniform with his aviator, and now she got a hard time working with him because she cant stop enjoying the view
No, prompt closed June 2nd, and I’m not sure when i will be opening them again as July is kind of crazy for me. So I won’t fill this with a fic. I can however give you a little summary or headcanon for this…
The first time Judy ever sees Nick in any type of police blues it at graduations. Where all the academy graduates are in pressed and perfect uniforms with the few awards and achievements they received at the academy. So it’s like extra nice, crisp and straight.
Judy is just like “Damn, Nick looks good” to herself in here head. And she’s all proud and such at the ceremony, that the fact that she founds Nick kind of hot in police blues till she’s at home. And then she has a moment of like “dread” wondering what type of uniformed Nick picked to wear.
She is so relieves see him in a standard blue uniform, it’s just you know, the rolled up sleeves might be the death of her.
Judy has been part of the anti predators for years, believing their is no good predator, till one day she was grocery shopping, and drops a bag, a fox helps her, but before Judy tell him to go away, she looks into his eyes, and their beautiful to her, that she forgets the world around her, the fox brings her back to the world, by teasing her, Judy thanks him and then think she did that, then she can't spot think ho sexy he is, and Judy is also starting to think predators aren't bad, well partly
Okay, but at like an element of reincarnated love into the mix.
Like there is this huge split among mammals between mammals that think Predators and Prey can co-exist and those that don’t. Growing up in the country it’s a lot of mammals believing predators and prey can’t co-exist well in society. Judy was raised in a big anti-predator house. She never really bought into the whole thing, like she had questions that were never really answered by anyone, but she was raised that way. She doesn’t believe their bad because their a predator, but she doesn’t think they have much good in them.
She moved to the city, where the divide is deep still, but it’s a huge mixture of mammals, and it’s not always great. Fights break out, among other violence, and there is a ton of resistance everywhere one looked. But Judy just goes about her life like she would.
After months of being in the city, she’s gotten use to it. Carries around her fox taser and spray and can totally handle herself against a predator. She even knows what parts of town to avoid and everything. One day she goes to the grocery store, same as always. As she’s leaving some over excited gazelle kids bump into her and cause her to drop on of her bags. Before she can reach and pick it up, someone else picked it up and was holding it out for her, and she’s shocked to see it’s a fox.
She reached to grab it from the fox’s paw and yell at them to leave her alone, and glare at him. But then her eyes catch his green ones. And instantly, there’s like a flash of light behind her eyes as her mind floods with memories. Memories of another life and time. One where the fox and her were like together and deeply in love, and almost constantly hunted by other mammals. Before like dying and having the fox declaring he’ll find her again and again until they can live happily together.
Once she snaps out of it, the fox is just blinking her. Like he didn’t see anything see just saw, like she’s just some totally random bunny on the street. But there is something in her smile that Judy can’t make out, something that tells her that he knows, and he’s like know for a while. She takes her back with a small things and scramblers off.
Curious and wanted to see the fox again, and also totally freaked out and not sure how to handle what just happened.
I kept thinking that I hadn’t done very much art this year, but while picking what to use for this…. jeeez, I’ve drawn a lot this year. And improved quite a bit, along the way. :D
Thanks so much for your encouragement and inspiration, everyone! ((x))
raywood secret agent au, ray's the really green rookie who's skill and connections caught the attention of that agent and ryan is the seemingly grizzled and sadistic veteran who is actually a massive nerd,
Fraternization is strictly prohibited by rules. Having a crush on a very promising rookie who can walk out of a maximum security prison in a remote East Europian country through connections alone may fall under fraternization, especially when that rookie seems to return that affection in the form of tripping over nothing every time they walk past each other in the hall, which is, sue him, kind of cute.
Ryan is never really good with rules. Fraternization is a word derived from Latin anyways. It’s a dead language for a reason.
Ryan and Ray are super close friends and everyone thinks they're dating so they confronted Ray and he's like ??????
"Since when am I dating Ryan?" Ray asks, intending the question to be purely rhetorical, because, obviously. Instead of the expected dismissal, Gavin nonchalantly answers, "I don't know, like, last month?""Ha ha, very funny," is what Ray says calmly, but he's mentally setting everything around him on fire.
ok ok hear me out: mavinsay fluff watching scary movies and gavin's being a baby about it (good luck with your writer's block, i hope it clears up!)
"Gavin!" Michael yells, drawing a squeak from Gavin, "stop hiding behind Lindsay and being such a fucking baby!""Babe," Lindsay points out, nonchalantly sipping from her coke as someone gets brutally murdered on the screen, "you're yelling from behind the couch."(The one where Michael, Gavin and Lindsay have a movie night. Gavin digs his own grave by suggesting scary movies, Michael considers joining Gavin in his figurative grave, and Lindsay probably has to dig an actual grave by the end of the night as her two boys die from stress and heart attack.)
