My current fic is called Summer of Doom. It was originally a joke comic I made with a OC of mine that was supposed to be an exaggerated Mary Sue. Through conversations with a friend about the fic, she went through major character development. This is actually my first long fanfiction, my main focus when it comes to writing.

Ha ha, you and me both Anon, I don’t like drastic change either. I will cling onto pictures of Nick with a quiff and stay off social media until 2020 when it’s fully grown back :D
The summer Nick bleached his hair he also made a lot of moody posts, like black and white arty shots of clouds, tweets about an ex (which was a pretty big deal at the time because I don’t think he’s tweeted about a boyfriend publicly before then) and generally gave the impression that someone had Been A Dick and he was Going Through It. Wonderful @nivks answered an anon on this a while back, here.
Around that time he shaved his head, which he obviously did because the bleach was making his hair itchy and dry, and he’s talked about how annoying it was on the radio since. However, because it happened at around the same time as the whole WHO HURT NICK stuff (which I call the Summer of Doom in my head, I think that’s just me, LOL), Nick + buzz cut gave me kind of emo vibes back in ye olde summer of 2016.
