I've realized that some of the best friendships or any kind of relationship for that matter, happen between two people who are rather different from one another. Alternatively, I've realized that just because two people have the same interests, it shouldn't be THE basis for a relationship/friendship. Oh summer. What have you done to me?
Understand that the only reason you have haters is because people can't take the amount of swagic you have.
