Summer Samba(So Nice) by Walter Wanderley debuted Aug 66 and peaked at number 26.

Walt was born in Recife, Brazil, and is a one hit wonder, never having charted before or after. He released dozens of albums 1957-81. The song was written by Marcos Valle with lyrics by his brother Paolo Sergio Valle,

The song has been recorded by over 200 artists, including Johnny Mathis, Connie Francis, Andy Williams, Astrud Gilberto, Sergio Mendes and Brasil 65, Ella FItzgerald, and Mel Torme. Walt's original was most recently heard in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.
