Mon 1 Jun 26 ୭\ˊ˗ It was nice to see @studywiththevampire ‘s challenge! This month I’m deciding to focus on exercise with my other goals/tasks on the side (— and maybe this way i’ll actually show some good improvement in at least one of my goals 😵💫)
I’ve been seeing a lot of personal curriculums and also diy punch cards and I really wanted to give it a try! So this challenge is set up around it!
June days of productivity 1/30 “ Goals: -> stretch daily -> do either one of: run/tug of war with the dogs, lap uni courtyard, dance, exercise list x2 (because I already have 2 sets of exercise plans from a Habitica challenge back in January) -> read 1 related article -> read 1 related book (non-fiction) -> ‘diet track’ with a punch cards — basically just choosing to eat better and not snack than keeping an actual diet -> use my beach towel as an exercise mat to encourage exercise -> be more attentive to my posture and in taking breaks — for, again, better posture, keeping my eyesight from getting worse, and lowering my constant need for some dopamine Side goals: These revolve around creating and finishing more art, reworking and researching for The Sci Journal so I can get it back up and active, reading another book, and learning some Russian (more properly and intentionally this time) Went to see how creating a new point system might work too and I may have gone a little bit overboard 😅 but the ‘credits’ rank up over the whole 30 days and I imagine the big climb might possibly be very motivating? -> stretched +1 -> exercised +7 credits 8/835 ”
Spent the evening then making the punch cards and it was a super nice, relaxing craft ^^
My dad however didn’t think I did enough by taking the dogs out on runs the previous 2 days because I told him where to I went with them (separately) and if I hadn’t ran those 3 times, the time that it took would have been the same as that of a regular walk that I have with them. Plus I think it gives them a good stretch because they don’t go out to run that often. And, yes, they should be getting hour long walks rather than 20min ones, but it’s something until I’m able to do that regularly first. Ugh it’s really annoyed me and made me not want to go out again..
