#SummerFlu. Hits me once every several years. Last time, I legitimately thought I was going to die... this time wasn’t as bad, but in between hugging fests with the porcelain goddess, I honestly considered whether I should go to QuickCare... except I would have had to get dressed and nobody has time for that 😉 It came out of nowhere, too! Zero sniffles, no sore throat. On Friday I woke up feeling fine... but after I got home, it attacked hard. I’ve spent all of my weekend throwing up, hot and cold sweats, laying feverishly in bed or in a cool bath, and in total pain. #CBD helped to take the edge off, but I needed more for my achey body. I loaded up on #vitamins, meds and water... but haven’t been able to eat more than a piece of toast and a chip. I’m feeling a little better now than yesterday. Haven’t gotten sick in 6 hrs (on a roll) and just took some #AlkaSeltzer #FTW. Wish me luck, because I have to be ready for a big week ahead!
