's a dump. so is the cafe. and you know something? cas deserves to be treated like a prince. he deserves everything i'm gonna buy him and more. there's nothing to regret when, at the end of the day, he's all mine."

Asmodeus gave a wide toothy grin, the smile lighting up his whole face. “Lucky guess, or maybe I’m just really good at reading people.” A small shrug followed as he slid his body onto the stool that had previously been occupied by her reason for needing a drink. “I saw that asshole from over there,” he pointed across the room, toward the other bar area. “It looked like he was giving you a hard time…hence needing a drink.”

“It’s…uh…I’m not sure. Strong. Sweet. Probably toxic, who knows? That bartender over there made it when I said you looked like you could use one. He said you would be happy. I’m Chaewon, by the way,  but my friends call me Asmo. You can call me whatever you’d like.” Flirting was as natural as breathing for Asmodeus; he was, after all, a Prince of Lust. Still, he liked to play it coy. “What’s your name? And what did the guy that was here before me do to piss you off, so I know not to do that?”

Uriel tsked under his breath, head shaking. “Who would have thought the great ferryman of the dead would turn into a crazy cat lady who likes to pick fights with mere mortals.” Had it been anyone else, the tone would have been mocking, derisive to an extreme, but with Kharon Uriel was simply teasing. “Which loser did you fuck with, and would you like me to kill him?”

Eyebrow raised quizzically, waiting for an answer. Was he serious? Who could tell? Even Uriel himself didn’t know how he would react is Kharon said yes. “I could snap my fingers and turn him into a puddle of ooze…or…” The archangel took a step forward, reading out to take the ice pack. With his other hand, he gently touched the ferryman’s cheek – allowing the grace to collect along the ridges of his fingertips. “I could just heal this silly bruise. Your choice.”

“Oh my god.” Eyes rolled as Noah grabbed Skipper gently by the arm. “You can’t do this to yourself. You will waste away to nothing, and then what good would you be? A walking skeleton?” He angled them both toward the street, a plethora of restaurants at their disposal. While he didn’t usually go out of his way to make sure humans were taken care of, he had an imagine to uphold. And…he had to admit that Skipper looked a bit off.  

That he even noticed Skipper’s state annoyed Noah to no end.

“My treat. Anything you want. Pizza? Noodles? Chicken? And don’t say no; this is not a negotiation.” Voice firm, he started heading toward the businesses, but steered clear of a particular shop – one that he knew several hunters frequented. “But not that one. They failed their health inspection. Last thing we need me holding your hair back all night when you get food poisoning.”

the  world  seems  at  peace  when  prince  and  skipper  are  together — at  least  to  prince — and  these  days ,  it’s  rare  they  are  apart .  fluttering  in  prince’s  chest  when  skipper  is  around  and  stolen  glances  aside,  of  course  they’re  just  friends .  that’s  why  prince  freezes  at  skipper’s  words ,  almost  not  believing  he  heard  him  correctly .  maybe  skipper  is  joking.  that  would  be  a  pretty  awful  trick  though ,  and  skipper  isn’t  exactly  known  for  being  cruel.  not  in  the  least.  “ r-really? ”  prince  stammers,  studying  skipper’s  expression  for  any  sign  of  jest .  as  he  expected ,  it’s  not  there .  so ,  naturally ,  prince  closes  the  small  gap  between  them  and  presses  a  soft  kiss  to  skipper’s  lips ,  hoping  the  action  will  convey  the  words  he  doesn’t  want  to  say  out  loud — but  are  very  much  true .
