Day 11 of the #summerminifun theme is “Behind the Scenes” . @vintagedollhouseshop is hosting this event and it has been lots of fun to meet the challenges. Now a bit about my studio- my full time job is being a portrait artist and I had to reconfigure my studio space to make room for the minis. I also share the room with my Holland Lop “Barley”. She loves it when supplies arrive and like to tear at the boxes and of course jump right in to see if perhaps there might be a treat for her. My studio is a small bedroom and I made my work table take up the center. I am a collector of many things and I drag out stuff to inspire me while working. I can’t sit idle so there are many. Things in the works at the same time. You can see some products that will be sold through my on line store waiting to be worked on. Behind me is my 1st ever dollhouse that is being renovated. So far only the kitchen is done. Progress is slow since running a business and household keeps me very busy. I do love making minis though and have become rather obsessed with making miniatures. I love that I finally can use the 10,001 art supplies that have been collected yet sat around with little use. I received a new portrait commission for a 20x30in canvas and am already trying to figure out what to move where to make room for it. Never a dull moment:) I hope you enjoyed this little tour and peak behind the scenes. 💕 Enzie https://www.instagram.com/p/CRMdfC8DHNx/?utm_medium=tumblr
