The Citadel is busier than usual and he hates the crowding, wishes he could pull out his pistol and lay the bastards to bloody rest by the thousands.
To say that he has a bad day would be an understatement.
John finally reaches his destination - the courtroom, where he is being tasked with “Taking care” of a defendant, which brings up more questions than he would like to address and he absolutely despises the Council of Ricks for being so vague about it.
Is he supposed to kill the defendant? Babysit them? Brush their hair and read them a bedtime story!? John is a man of focus and direct product, he doesn’t stalk his victims, he comes, he kills, he gets paid.
All of his frustration regarding a stressful day and his issues with the Council’s questionable authority seeps out when he enters the defendant’s cell and finally sees who he is to “Take care” of, which brings out a new type of frustration, a sort of happy and yet sad excitement.
“I know you.”
