A lot achieved today with all of the Art Foundation students pulling together to get the C7/7a and C9 teaching spaces up and ready for the approaching assessments. Lots going on also with guests visiting from other colleges and colleagues and teaching peers coming into the busy art department, with the UAL second year art assessments now underway in E-block also.
All furniture moved and stored, installation spaces prepared and about 55 of the 70 show boards across the 3 rooms, joined, taped and painted. A lot of progress and a lot of laughter. Tomorrow we will finish the spaces and the students will begin to prepare their individual spaces and start to get the terrific artwork up. The assessments start in a week. The End of Year Show is after half term in 3 weeks. (* Details to follow)
