The show is coming down fast. We hit the ground running this morning and most of the art is off the walls. Ages to put it up moments to get it down, it’s been a great show week. Well done everyone and a big Thank-you to technicians Martin and Dave.

The route for Little Amal through Bristol city centre has been revealed
Little Amal to walk through Bristol next Friday 24th - Great chance to see this wonderful creation and to be part of the refugee awareness discussion.Catch her if you can - starts outside Bristol Old Vic.
Great day today painting out the C7 and C9 floors in the sculpture and ceramic studios. Much careful edging and laughter. Great work team. It makes such a difference and astonishingly no one managed to leave a phone or their car keys stuck on the other side of the room. All locked up now for the weekend and the End of Year show next week.
So much terrific creative work at the Strode End of Year Show this year - with sustainability at the core of the thinking. Here a few glimpses of the many student works - across the level 2, 3 and 4 vocational art programmes - that are re-using or re-imagining materials. Fantastic. Here are Molly’s fine art costumes made from old tights and a used parachute, Daisy’s rubbish jellyfish, Kasha’s plastic free fruit and veg stall, Charlotte’s woven and knitted anti-fast-fashion collection, Takara’s re-imagined reused clothing shop, Aimee’s recycled rock-pool and Amelie’s terrific ‘ClamBag’
Next Week !
A terrific day at Wick Farm - with the creative vocational, FAD and A-Level students pitching their ideas for a site map to curator Penny Horne.

Plymouth HE Research Trip
A terrific day exploring Plymouth. Visiting the arts programmes and listening to programme leaders in fine arts, illustration, graphics and more. Looking at the great facilities and courses at Plymouth College of Art and University of Plymouth. Also visited the Box museum and then chips on the Barbican with the seagulls and fishing boats. Thankyou to Next Steps Southwest for funding this HE creative research trip. An inspiring day. #plymouthcollegeofart #plymouthuniversity #plymouth #HE #creative #strodecollge #PCA #Universityofplymouth
