The Saga of Injustice by John Cena Against Finn Balor Continued Tonight At The Royal Rumble

The injustice began in 2021 when Finn Balor was sitting down to sign a contract to face Roman Reigns for the championship. The march was supposed to be at Summerslam.

It was the opportunity Balor had been waiting for since, Roman Reign's former brother turned rival, injured him at Summerslam 2016. He sustained a devasting shoulder injury that took him out of action for several months.

Balor was forced to relinquish the title in one of the most heartbreaking scenes in wrestling. He hadn't had a chance to fight for it since then and John Cena took his chance away.

In 2021, Cena returned and crashed the contract signing that the Tribal Chief had graciously relented to Finn Balor.

Just as he was going to sign, Baron Corbin attacked Finn. John Cena took the opportunity and came out to steal the contract. Finn never got his match at Summerslam.

At the Royal Rumble 2025, John Cena came out and eliminated Finn Balor. Just another injustice committed by John Cena to Finn Balor.

It is Cena's last year in wrestling before he retires. Will we finally see Finn Balor get justice?
