Dear Gus,
Nene kept you and Caroline and Cate at our house so we could all go to our annual Summit Team dinner tonight at Kemuri. Uncle Chris took this photo, so he’s not in it. And your mother isn’t in it I guess because she was sitting just outside of the frame. Weird. Meanwhile, this meal was possibly one of my favorites of the year.

NOTE TO SELF: I did a bad job of taking pictures of the best part--sushi rolls on sushi rolls. Highlights included those short ribs, Lobster rolls (a known favorite), and Kemuri rolls (an unknown favorite). For dessert, most people preferred what I think was a green tea mochi cake, but I’m about that cheesecake life. Strong contender for the Best Meals of 2019 list, I think.
Currently ranked first of eight November meals.
