Haircutting isn't about diagrams or charting out your work. Create your end result based on visuality, don't assume that the hair will follow what your clippers or shears are doing simply because this chart says to used a certain length at a certain point. Use your eye, hair has growth patterns, darker spots, lighter spots, and many other variables that make every haircut unique to create on every head of hair. Even if I'm cutting the same haircut on the same client, it may be a different routine depending on how the hair is laying or reacting in the moment. I was always told in school, use your eye, don't rely on the numbers! I understand what they're trying to get across with this, but I believe that it is deceiving to oversimplify a haircut like this. I'm not knocking the dude for the haircut, because it's on point.
