After the three started over with frisk trapped and lock away, the underground goes through it’s time underground and then to the surface. The royal guard is still a pretty active force with humans and monsters establishing a kinda of agreement the embassay and all. Humans request monster services and the like pap and undyne being the royals personal guards that get personally requested for missions/ tasks.
Pap is currently at lv 5 and unyne 7( they dont generally increase beyond that or does it...also sans doesnt know until an...incident happened.) the more lv someone has they the harder it is to control their emotions and are prone to fits of anger/ magic overload. Paps still prefers to talk things out but when he it lv 3 hes more of a no matter the cost to keep them safe. Gaining lv isnt new to pap it happened before when he was 9 but you cant gain anything from something that doesnt exsist.
