[Squirrel's sleep is long and restful, but not serene. On top of occasional whines, nervous grabs, and strained mutterings calling for her parents and new friends, her condition seems to have worsened: she doesn't just stiffen every so often, but she has started twitching quite noticeably too.
Her unrest, stress, and health, however, don't seem to matter when she finally stirs, and starts waking up. Her tail doesn't reform, but her stomach immediately grumbles, while her eyes look for familiar, reassuring faces nearby.]

[Charlie has not moved since Squirrel had been rescued. She still has Squirrel's head in her lap, and has been staring into space for quite a while. As soon as Squirrel stirs, however, she snaps to attention, focusing on Squirrel's face.]
Squirrel! Squirrel, I'm here! You're safe!
