i know i talk a lot about moses sumney but i really admire his work. the way he performs inhabiting a body (photoshoots, social media, music videos, etc) IS a performance art and puts his lyrical work thru the body idk im not making much sense rn bc im so sleepy what im trying to say is that poetically his work flows so well on its own but is magnified by how he uses his body in those music videos and stuff. there are two instruments (words/brain & body) and he used them in tandem in ways i deeply respect and want to emulate in ways unique to me

i know that moses sumney has mentioned that his 1st album aromanticism feels “undercooked” but Plastic and The Cocoon Eyed Baby hold special places in my heart
