So I got a random moment of inspiration to update my species, Sumu-ri. Rather happy with how they turned out. Gave them a more bat like/rodent look, like what they originally were suppose to be. Slowly, I hope to make their info sheet. Art, concept and species are owned by Sophiesuffocate. You may not use in any way. Sumu-ri are not an open species.

Kissed By My Muse

So while I was snooping through adoptables, I suddenly got slapped by a species idea! I'm super excited and I've got them mostly designed. They are ganna be little demon slime familiars!

AAh I can't wait to show them off! I'm going to incorporate them with my other originals species, the Sumu-Ri. I can't tell you much more then that cause that will spoil the surprise!

I'm thinking about offering them as adoptables if people take to them well, though honestly I don't see why they wouldn't. Who wouldn't like slime bbys <333

Also, on this note, I've been messing around more with my species, Sumu-Ri. I have changed their tone a bit and have been working on some fillers for their world.

I know I talk about updates I'm doing for them, but I haven't posted anything to show for it. That is because I'm planning on kind of doing it all together instead of just randomly. So be prepared at some point down the road, being slammed with a huge master post for them.

Anyways, back to working on my YCH commission.

Hm

I've been kind of working on my head world and finally came up with a name for it. 

Usar-lin (oosar-lin) is the land where Sumu-ri and other creatures reside and call home. It is split into 3 (for now) climates: Desert, Swamp, and Tundra. 

Sumu-ri are the most common creatures that reside in Usar-lin and are one of the more sentient species. This does not however, make them the "important" species. That title is held for the royal, and they will be revealed later.

I've been trying to create some creatures that are less/more sentient and fill my world up a little bit more. I've also been working on some of the flora and fruit that can be found in Usar-lin.

Itsy Bitsy doesn't remember much of her previous life. When thinking back on it, she only gets bits and pieces but the rest is foggy. What she could recall, would make others uncomfortable. However, she savored those memories like rare wine. Not that it mattered, now that she is Corrupt. 

She liked it that way. Fear was her favorite tactic to controlling others and it worked well. It worked even better now. Many creatures, Sumu-ri and alike, worshiped her and did her evil bidding. Potions and poisons are her specialty; even as a young one, she was always fascinated with herbs. Itsy Bitsy is quite fond of spiders.

Sumu-ri Species Update

I've been cooking on this idea for awhile, even before Halloween... and after some development on the Sumu-ri's world and the species itself; 

I am proud to announce that there will be a new sub species called Corrupt Sumu-ri!

These guys are beyond ordinary, and there will only be a selected few available for adoption. They will be only for money through paypal, and will not be available for customs. I will most likely be making them for holidays or special events!

I will be revealing more about them in due time but since I wasn't able to make any Halloween adopts this year, I wanted to go ahead and release a couple darker themed Sumu-ri. So I will be revealing a few Corrupt Sumu-ri here shortly.

~Some info on this sub species~

Name: Corrupt

Background: Can be from any background, and can be any of the sub species. No one knows the real reason behind the Corrupt however, there is a rumor that playing with the dark arts could have something to do with it. Others believe the Corrupt are created when murder is committed and are possessed by a demon or entity. 

Corrupt are greatly feared and are avoided at all costs. The few that exist, do so deep in the wilderness. Sometimes they attract other creatures with similar backgrounds, that become companions or servants.

Sumu-ri are not an open species. DO NOT make your own.

Tundra Sumu-ri

  THIS IS NOT AN ADOPTALBE~ This is just an example! Not all Tundra Sumu-ri are going to have all of these characteristics, nor are these the only ones they can have. The bio explains the must haves.

Bio:

A bit less common than the Desert Sumu-ri but are much more liked. Their neck fur is fluffy and soft, and they have short poufy tails. Because of their cold climate, their ears and nose are smaller. They range in very light tones of blue, yellow, and grey with dark markings; making it easy for them to hide in their environment.  The fur on their back legs is longer, allowing them to walk easier in the snow.

Tundra dwellers can be hyper and bounce around a lot. They love games. Because they are super energetic, others can get worn out and annoyed by them.  Though often happy, they become quite and thoughtful, and are sometimes prone to depression. They either think too much or don’t think at all and leap into a situation they could have avoided. Having a quick temper but are just as quick to cool off. They’d rather have the offender apologize first, and then they will forgive. They may forgive, but they never forget.  Tundra Sumu-ri have a hard time getting along with the Swamp Sumu-ri, so they mainly avoid each other. Tundra dwellers love to cuddle and snuggle, making them great pets and companions.
