I don't think it's Pearl specifically that Gem's obsessed with (Although she does genuinely like Pearl) I think Gem attached herself to Pearl due to her perceiving them having similar reputations in her head? The Pearl Gem knew going into the games was scarlet Pearl—a winner, a good fighter, and competent with a reputation for being scary. Gem herself knows she had a reputation going in (The whole Geminislay thing) and being able to back it up. I think she kinda got weirdly attached to Pearl because of that kinship.

So theoretically if Life Gem were to get into After Life then she probably wouldn't replace Pearl but if there's someone there similar enough to Pearl then she could care a bit. Though I wonder if she'd keep her several lives gimmick in After Life. She'd die (murder or accidentally) then come back by herself a bit messed up, die again then come back changed, then finally red and now the others have to face consequences:tm: (If her deaths were caused by murder)

Life Gem likes the idea of Scarlet Pearl, she wants that to happen, to witness, to join forces with.

But Scarlet Pearl in my story is not the same as the legend or idea.

In Afterlife, nobody is like that...not like ths legend, not like Pearl, not even like Geminislay...

Also, in this AU, everyone has 1 life in Afterlife as almost every life is a different person. Also, when you travel the multiverse, the server you get on is also seeing you on 1 life, on Hardcore...unless its coded otherwise.

Afterlife in this AU isnt coded otherwise. Hermitcraft isnt coded otherwise unless you are whitelisted.

And Lifers? Their code is a mess that trying to whitelist just 1 of them is....not impossible, but extremely difficult. Thats why they made those things for them at the end of the story - to get around the code without wasting the time they knew they didnt teally have.

In their new world, they will have infinite respawns.......when they figure out, how to code that sucesfully with proper respaws.

I think dragon Gem would have the most complicated feelings about Life Gem. Seeing as she wants to prevent her own sisters' deaths and Red Gem is the product of a Gem dying again and again. Putting Life Gem in After Life would be a really funny idea considering their view of Gems

Fair warning: The Summer You Were There is a tragedy and nearly made me cry (I couldn't cry outright since I was in class) but it's absolutely amazing imo. Also I didn't know you've already watched Madoka Magica ^^' I really liked Homumami surprisingly, alongside the popular ships. The new movie's coming out in February 2026 too

Afterlife for Life Gem...and she sees what could have been if there wasnt much death in her life....but they dont have Pearl so she doesn't care about them lol

Yeah I watched a lot of anime in my years...Madoka Magica is a must see, in my book XD together with other animes that make you question everything (on top of my head I can think of Death Note and Shingeki no Kyojin, but there is much more). i will keep that in mind :D ...and a new movie?...oh boi, here comes the depression again /silly

I also don't think Life Gem would be a void parasite like Grian seeing as the portal took Gem's eye and then it started to corrupt her, I think the parasitic relationship would go the other way tbh. I also don't think Life Gem would be meeting Spider Gem and Pearl with malice in her heart, maybe only for spider Gem though. I think she'd be a little (maybe a lot) jealous that Spider Gem's got a Pearl that hasn't betrayed her and didn't die on her. In my view of Life Gem's character a bit more, I think she's really lonely? and not in tune with her own emotions (The flip flop between wanting to be red with Pearl in Wild Life and the proclamations of hate towards Pearl) for someone who plays a lot of social games. She remembers past games and in those past games she's always perma died alone (Betrayed or killed by mobs with no one to help her). Maybe she'd even be bitter towards both of them, and we know that Life Gem doesn't exactly disguise her hatred.

Though if she does have duplicitous motives then she'd probably be able to hide it. I don't even think she'd be that kind or nice to Spider Gem's Pearl, she'd be disappointed that The Scarlet Pearl she's been yearning for is not what she expected (Also her just obsession? with Red Pearl in general)

An interaction I do wanna see though is Red Gem with any of spider Gem's sisters tbh. Red Gem is just all wrong but not in the way of hostile mob hybrids should be

I'm doing alright if you disregard I've been really into Madoka Magica and recently reread The Summer You Were There (I really recommend the anime of pmmm and reading the manga of The Summer You Were There if you have the time and emotional capacity to do so) ^^'

It would really depend, who Life Gem is and where she is from, and how that would translate her behavior towards our Pearl, and what her motivation is.

Did she meet them after Secret Life? That's a sad, broken and betrayed Gem. She would try to make friends with Pearl and try to figure out, why she was betrayed her (not realizing Wild Pearl =/= our Pearl)...

After Wild Life? That's a sad, hurt, angry Gem. Does she want friendship? Does she want revenge? Her emotions are mess and she doesn't know how to deal with them, she doesn't know how to not feel them. She hates that she doesn't know and she will make it Pearl's problem, and I mean any Pearl's problem...she is venting in the worst way possible...

Past Life? That's a Gem that craves for the vicious and dangerous legend of Scarlet Pearl...and finally sees that's never happening again. She still bites and is mean, but she is learning to be friendly...........learning very poorly, but learning nonthenless. After session 7, if she saw our Pearl? That would break the facade and make her cry for the first time since she joined the games, since Secret Life.

And the void corruption...it really depends how you re-imagine Gem and the portal happening....and what it does to her already unstabel psyche.

She won't be Evil Grian level at the start. Nobody is Evil Grian at the start, not even Evil Grian...but make a lot of bad choices and kill a lot of peaople and you will get there.

Give Gem the right motivation, make her snap in one "unrealeased" game...and she might be another one... It could also explain, how she travels the multiverse ;)

Everyone can turn evil if you break them hard enough..that's how human nature is. Give the right hardship and motivation, and even the kindest of people can turn into actual monsters.

Red Gem would be...the thing that Spider sisters hate. If Hermitcraft Gem made them feel uneasy, Red Gem would be much, much worse. The raw "wrong" of every aspect of her...it might be what Dragon wanted to avoid. Because...she is corrupted by void, she is bloothirsty, she is obsessed with the Legend of Scarlet Pearl...

And you can't quite control that and obey your own twisted ideas, if you know what I mean...*eyes Dragon's need to be in charge and keep everyone under her control so she "prevents" more family deaths*...

Considering Gem's in the life series for a few seasons now and the whole void on her arm when she was red in Past Life.

How would some Pearl and Spider Gem (Heck even throw in some of Spider Gem's sisters considering their standards on how a Gem should be if you want) react to/interact Life series Gem and vice versa? And the whole void thing with Life series Gem considering the Grian they interacted with the most

Life Series Gem is...a special case I am kinda happy I didn't need to worry about that much whilst I was writing XD

Because Life Gem is...an enigma, so to speak, how she interacts with Pearl and others. There is always something behind that Ender eye that nobody notices, and not even our beloved Life Pearl would notice.

But Spidey would. Spidey, given her experience with her sisters and now Hermitcraft Gem...she would know to not fully trust her. It might take an iteraction or three, but she would notice the sighs. She would notice how she acts similiary to Dragon Gem...but nobody would believe her concerns, until it would be almost too late.

I think given the void/end portal arm and eye, Life Gem has what the first signs of Void Corruption are. She might not be a Void parasite like Evil Grian...but give it time and she would be another one.

She would try to hide her arm, she would try to pass for a normal goat hybrid. The eye would be a "prostetic", similiar to what all Ethos have, and one black horn (white for normal one, the other being take over by void) is just the colour her horn has, nothing suspicious there!

Would she be an enemy or would she be a friend to our beloved shiny duo besties? It would depend on what her goal would be. Do what Grian did with the games, but better and more evil (Limited, Secret, Wild, Past lifes?) Get her own Pearl to call bestie by any means nessesary? Trying to find a cure to not turn into a Void parasite? Try to get her...."friend"....back?

Hmmmm....

That is a question ;)
