BIRD OF THA DAYYYY🥁🥁🥁🥁
Isssssssssss
The sun bittern!! (I might have posted a picture of the bird before but not with facts)
The sun bittern has a beautiful pattern on their wings, reminding of a moth or a butterfly. And to find these cuties, you'll have to go to northern South America and central, where they're found in creeks and shallow wading waters where they scavenge for fish, amphibians and insects!
Their response to threat is actually seen in the picture above! They spread their wings when threatened to show off the red spots which may be mistaken for a pair of eyes!
