It's been a long night, shoulders tensed, he reaches for the packet hidden away somewhere under his dress. Lighting the cigarette without a lighter is easy, he has magic after all, the same magic he uses to vanish the packet.
Sun leans forward against the railing, staring out at the moon as it shines down onto the night before him, showing half its face.
He sighs. He's tired.
Long black fabric clings to his figure. His own is decent enough, albeit the dress makes him look far curvier than he actually is. He doesn't mind, it makes him feel pretty.
Or it should have.
No one ever took him seriously, made a joke out of his own interests in dresses. Instead of feeling pretty like he was supposed to, it just made him feel stupid.
He breathed in the smoke, he let it out.
"Have fun?" A voice emerged from behind him. He knew who it was and he knew the other would find him. He did not startle.
Sun chuckled bitterly. "There was fun had. Not necessarily by me though." He lolled his head to the side, gaze never leaving the moon.
A darker figure stood next to him, leaning their own weight against the railing.
"Let me guess, they made fun of you?" It wasn't really a question, Eclipse already knew the answer.
Sun only hummed in acknowledgement. There was a silence hung up in the air, resting gently against their bodies.
He felt Eclipse's shoulder gently bump against his own.
"Hey," it wasn't much more than a whisper. "If there's any reason you should take off a dress,"
Sun turned and looked at the man beside him, he could only imagine where this was about to go.
"Any reason at all," Eclipse continued. "It's because I'm taking it off you." A stupid grin covered the man's face, chuckling as Sun half heartedly shoved him.
He scoffs "Oi." But there's a smile he can't help and he knew that was exactly what Eclipse was aiming for, it made his face go red.
"Maybe," he says after a beat, dragging his smoke again. "If you're lucky."
Eclipse's eyes light up at the promise, only for a second before he tries to hide his eagerness. In any case, he still grins.
"I'll take you up on that." Their shoulders find each other once more. Sun sighs, closing his eyes and takes in the feeling of the warmth coming from the man next to him, clashing with the cold night's breeze.
This is nice.
They stay there together for quite some time. The moon has moved the next time Sun pays attention to it.
He looks beside him at Eclipse, who's staring back. Never did he think they'd be here, together, enjoying a quiet night, but yet they were.
A soft smile graces his lips and he pushes himself off of the railing, making his way inside. Stopping at the door he turns to look back at Eclipse.
"Well, weren't you going to help me out of this dress?" It's all he has to say before heading back inside, he doesn't wait for Eclipse, he knows the man will follow.
And he does.
