How did I not fall in love with Sun Eater and Lemillion my first time through this show?? Yes, they don’t get a ton of screen time, but the poetry to squeeze into those brief little flashbacks??

“You were so bright … shining … like the sun.”

“… if I use your words, then you’re someone even more amazing than the sun. You’re … someone who eats even the sun …”

Craving Attention - Tamaki Amajiki

The floorboards creak under quiet steps. It's a sign that he's comfortable, because you know Tamaki to be able to slip around the house unheard, like a ghost dressed in well-worn cardigans and fuzzy socks.

He stops in the doorway, you can see him from the corner of your eye. Tamaki stays there, unmoving, and you wonder what he's up to as you flip the page.

You wonder if he thinks about the argument you had last week. More of a discussion, really, because you've noticed a pattern and Tamaki was reluctant to see it. You wonder if he's starting to realize you were right.

His head bops up and down, slowly, as if he's nodding to himself. You turn another page without having read a word, your focus now shifted onto the man just out of your reach.

You give him five minutes. Tamaki doesn't speak up once.

"What are you up to, love?" You ask then, smiling to yourself when he blushes.

"Nothing," he claims, leaning against the doorframe. "I was just wondering."

"About what?"

About your book," Tamaki claims, and you know he's lying, the burning red tips of his ears giving it away. "Is it good?"

"Fantastic," you claim, and he takes a step closer to you. You turn your head slightly to look at him. Tamaki's pouting, though he's trying his best not to show it.

"Yeah?" He leans against the backrest of the Couch, though even with all his weight, he doesn't manage to push it further into the room. "Would you-"

"Yes?"

He blushes. He looks away. You give him some time.

Finally, with furrowed brows and his lower lip tucked between his teeth, he slings himself over the backrest and drops into your lap.

"Pay attention to me? Please?"

You laugh, a little breathless from the impact. "All you had to do was ask."

A foot, wrapped in a fuzzy sock, nudges your leg.

"Yes?" You ask, your eyes on the words in front of you, though your focus is slipping.

"You're doing it again," Tamaki points out, stretching himself until his head fits under the book and he can blink up at you. "You're not paying attention to me."

You sigh in mock exasperation. "Who knew you could be so demanding?" You joke, but put the book away to kiss him. "I'm sorry I looked away from you for a second."

He pouts. "You can read," he claims. "I just thought-"

"No, don't doubt yourself." You wrap your arms around him and pull him close. "I love you. That stupid book can wait. My brain was just getting antsy, that's all."

"Mhm," Tamaki's quiet for a moment. "I mean, you could read to me, if you want. I like hearing your voice."

I am a very happy girl today. Tom and Will at on stage Sonic Temple. ❤️ The pic of them on the left is from Welcome to Rockville. Love seeing them together!

I have seen them both. I have met them both. Seeing them together is my dream! Hopefully one day it will happen.

Guys suneater has consumed my brain like its not even funny anymore Hadrian and I are the same person and thats terrible bc i see so many people hating on his inner monologue in goodreads reviews like ‘oh i cant STAND HIM.’ Meanwhile im over here like speak ur shit twin 🗣️.
