Naxatras - Sun Is Burning
Naxatras (2017)
.
I doubt anyone remembers but back in... february??? Idk it was snowing. Anyway, at some point in winter I ran into a huge high school transference/safe person (she was a teacher/"leerjaarcoördinator") and she said she'd text me and she never did and it triggered me to no end. And then A was gone for a month and I just tried to get over it but tbh it stung.
I just ran into her AGAIN (at my city's canal pride lmao) and again she said she'd love to meet and catch up and even asked me if I still had her number. I checked with her and still had the right number, asked if she'd really like it, and she said "otherwise I wouldn't say it!".
So I texted her almost immediately and she replied... I'm trying to have zero hopes but I'd just love to be able to catch up with her and tell her that now, as an adult, I appreciate even more what she did for me and meant to me.
Also she just always seemed like a really cool person so. Who knows???
Sun Is Burning
Desert has surrounded me and my mind is full of speed. Wish I could run to the void sitting on my motor steed. Naxatras - Naxatras - Sun Is Burning
The Dubliners - The Sun is Burning (words by Ian Campbell)
Heard it many times, still petrifies me every time. If you never heard it: listen attentively to the lyrics, and hear out the whole song.
