Kazuko Tadano’s art showcase (final part)
I mean, if she was capable of drawing hair that way, then just why didn’t she do it all the time?
But actually, my single favourite artwork by Tadano is this one:
Wedding Peach is really her best work, I’d say! I honestly prefer Nao Yazawa’s costume design, by Tadano is by far the superior artist. Though I still like the OAV better than the TV series, thanks to queen Sayuri Ichishi (that may also be my Pokémon bias speaking).

My Diligence has ended the doom n’ roll drought in my 2019 backlog. Their sophomore record is tinged with all sorts of rock influences - even 90s alt-rock vocals - but I’m here for the headbanger chorus and breakdown riffs. Great tone.

Sun Rose – ‘Smirk’ [Last Night From Glasgow]
‘Smirk’, the debut single from Sun Rose is a rejuvenation of 80s synth with a nice Glaswegian twist. The band originally put together their first album in the winter of 2013-2014 but the project was put on hold until 2015 and after much work and refining, the final version was completed in 2016 – the full album is set to release on November 17 of this year. The track is so characteristic of 80s…
