Greater Yet To Be

It must have been around the year 2000 when I heard Reverend Doctor Kathianne Lewis use the phrase "your greater yet to be." Even today there's something deeply profound about that statement; an acknowledgement that your current Self can connect with your future Self in a meaningful way.

It's a good phrase for today, for this week, and for much of the upcoming Pisces season as the final square between the Sun and Uranus in Taurus occurs. The Sun will not square Uranus in Taurus again for another 72 years, and the next square between these two will feature Uranus in Gemini.

Along with the trine of Mercury in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer at 15°, this is a period of time in which your current Self and future Self connect. It could be quite mystical, such as through a meditation or dream. Or it could be more mundane as you engage in retirement planning or thinking about that vacation in 2027.

Whatever it is, there is a special portal opening up in which the future you is seeking to let you know it is real, it is being formed, and asks you to incorporate her/him into your present day decisions.

I met my future Self last week, and I look forward to introducing you to her.

Synastry Observations - Friendship & Romantic

Sun square Uranus

Initial excitement can turn into anxiety. One person - likely Sun - will find the other to be unpredictable. One person - likely Uranus - will appear eccentric. Connection can end quickly if one pushes for traditional expectations.

IRL EX: Taurus Sun felt Aqua Uranus was “not serious”. Connection was causal & mostly via text & calls.

Sun conjunct NN

If conjunction is close (closer than 5 degrees), the two can have a joint purpose. This doesn’t mean it’s your destiny to be together. Rather the meeting is fated. The person can give a fated push toward your life’s destiny.

IRL EX: Without getting into specifics, Sun was able to help NN person early on in their career to receive the necessary attention & information to move forward in their career.

It’s like the universe sending you someone to force you to move to the next part of your destiny - it is likely to feel uncomfortable.

Mercury Opposite Pluto

One may feel the other is trying to dominate the other. There can be resistant in seeing things from the other’s point of view.

Arguments are likely intense and heated.

Venus square Chiron

Chiron may require something Venus finds hard to provide. For example: Maybe Chiron likes a lot of physical affection like hugs. But Venus didn’t grow up in that kind of environment and finds it doesn’t come naturally.

Jupiter conjunct Pluto

If this is a very close conjunction in degrees, this can indicate both will experience something that changes their life. Further prominent and exact aspects to NN would support the connection being life-changing. Examples: Having a child together, travelling together, adapting/changing religions/views.

Uranus square Mars

Intense confrontations are likely to occur. Angry outbursts can quickly escalate. Physical fighting is a possibility. The two can push each other into reckless and impulsive behaviours.

This indicates there can be lying and deceptive behaviours in the connection. This can build up a lot of anger especially for the Mars person. Rather than being direct in expressing this, they can become manipulative and invasive. Drug addiction, emotional abuse can be present in the connection too esp if paired with a lot of negative synastry. 

Uranus square Jupiter 

The relationship is likely exciting but this is not a good indicator for long-lasting. This can be an on & off connection. The Jupiter person may feel Uranus person is too eccentric, unpredictable/unreliable. Uranus may feel Jupiter acts arrogant about their beliefs & refusing to be open minded.

Frequent clashing of personalities. Saturn may feel Sun is overbearing + arrogant for refusing to listen and consider Saturn person. Sun may feel Saturn is a burden, clingy/hanging onto them for validation.

If an exact aspect, this can indicate a fated encounter. Immediately, either may feel a natural friendship or repulsion. NN specifically may develop a feeling of duty to the other - feeling like they owe something to Sun. This can create internal resistance to Sun if they are unwilling to fulfill their karmic duty.

Unless indicated in other placements or aspects, this mars is NOT a people pleaser. This mars stands up/defends themselves. This mars has no problem cutting people and things from their life. Generally, a healthy mars placement - you rarely let resentment build up, you aren't a pushover.
