Sun-Bleached Nights

Rainy days

And Sun-bleached nights,

Where the little ones balk

At the monstrous frights.

There always seems

To be a written rite

Of passage through

Those sun-bleached nights.

Nevertheless,

Neverthemore,

We shall travel,

Through sea-less shores,

Where creatures mock,

And cause children terror,

But no matter,

They only scream and squawk.

Those little ones are safe with us.

Adjust your courage,

And your fears,

Those monstrous frights,

Have no powers here,

And rainy days.
