he's pissed off. he can't understand why someone would do that to you, and in an ideal world, he'd give them an earful. but he knows that's not what's best for you, so he holds back. instead, he opts for pulling you into a hug - something he reserves only for you. "those assholes.. thinking they could make you feel alone. well you're not, got it? whether you like it or not, you've got me for life."

more than anything, yamaguchi just wants you to know that you deserve better than that. it breaks his heart that you feel like you're unwanted when he couldn't want you more. "hey hey, those people aren't true friends. true friends want to be around you and care so much for you. and you've got that in me."

suna -

he makes extra effort to reach out to you to fill the gaps left by those people he hates so much. 'why would they do that?' he thinks to himself. he doesn't know why they wouldn't want to reach out to you because to him, you're the only person he really wants to talk to. he's taken to leaving you voice messages - little reminders of how much he cares about you. "you're so important. don't think for a second that you're ever alone."

realized this is so vague it could be abt any of the guys, so it’s pretty much an insert agdheh anyway i’m soft

waking up in the morning is harder some days than others. it’s too early, you think while slapping the alarm off on the nightstand. rolling over, expecting to be enveloped in those slender arms, you notice the emptiness of where he once laid his head. with sleep still in your eyes, you fail to notice the figure looming across the room. a pathetic whine falls from your lips as you clutch his pillow tightly against your chest.

he watches your feeble attempt to mimic his warmth. he chuckles quietly to himself. a defeated sigh falls from your lips, sending a pang right to his chest. he knows he shouldn’t stay. he already had a hard time just 10 minutes ago when his own alarm blared through the speakers of his phone.

his feet move faster than his mind as he finds himself shuffling towards the king sized bed. your body jerks feeling the bed dip, alerting you of his presence. he slides into his previous position, draping his arms around your shivering shoulders. running lithe fingers through your hair, he quickly shoots his coach a text. when that soft, content sigh of yours graces his ears he decides that skipping practice for you is absolutely worth it.

i feel like suna would fit the tsundere trope perfectly. not the type to outwardly dislike and argue with you but more on the he doesn't really give a shit about you externally kind???? he sees you getting teased at but doesn't do anything to stop them, next day your bullies are suddenly apologizing to you. you lost your pen, my boy won't lend you shit when you ask him if he actually does have pens but after asking around, you come back to see a few on your desk. you don't have money for lunch? he'd wait for you to go to the bathroom before sneaking a few of his snacks on your table.

more than anything, akaashi just wants to help give you a break. so if that means making arrangements for your siblings to be taken care of and asking your manager for a day off of work, then so be it. "you deserve it," he says with sympathy, but not pity. akaashi thinks you're the strongest person in the world for making it through all of this. he holds a lot of respect for you and he'll be damned if he doesn't let you know that. "you're so strong, you know that?" he says, pulling you into a hug. "but you don't have to be strong all the time. let me be strong for now, okay?" you let out a sniffle at his words, trying your best to take some of the weight off of your shoulders, if only for a few minutes. "right now, all you have to focus on is letting your mind and body take a break."

suna -

glancing over at you to check on you, suna can't help but feel it was unfair that you had to deal with all of this. he saw how much the pressure beat down on you, no matter how much you tried to withstand it alone. it breaks his heart, but even if it's the least he can do, suna isn't going to let you go through this alone. he plays with your younger siblings whenever you need to rest, he visits you at work and drives you home, he sits up with you til 3 am keeping you company while you read your textbooks - because "it's the least i can do," he always says. he isn't much for words, he prefers to let his presence speak for how much he cares about you and it would be hard to forget that. "i'm always here. whenever you need me, i'll be right there."

AAAA SO CUTE and maybe he’d take you to a nearby playground where you sit on the swings and hold hands and talk about life and deep things until he tells you to sit on his lap while he slowly swings you both

my heart went ✈️✈️✈️ ahhh he'd be such a good listener?? he doesn't mind taking things slow and he'll sit there till the sunrise listening to you if you need to let it out. he doesn't like to share his emotions with other people because it makes him feel weak but with you?? it all comes naturally and he's not worried about the judgement. when you get sleepy and the conversation dies down he lets you doze off on his shoulder while he stays awake, arms wrapped protectively around u :(((
