Thinking of how Sushang's mom disapproved of her relationship with Guinaifen and called her "expedient, soft, and flattering" to dissuade Sushang, when Guinaifen has endured horrific hardship and disapproved of her brothers being pirates to support them, because she didn't want to hurt people for her own survival.

Thinking about how Sushang clings to Guinaifen anyways, because Guinaifen will be gone one day and she would rather grieve losing her than regret never knowing her at all.

Somehow I'm cursed to get violently attached to sapphic ships/dynamics that nobody else seems to care about.

Like, Mihoyo really made the most interesting doomed yuri dymamics and never paid attention to them again. Where is more content about Madame Ping/Streetward Rambler and Guizhong. Where is more lore/events with Sushang and Guinaifen involved.

Sunaifen as a ship is so funny because it's simultaneously doomed mortal/immortal, princess/knight, and bad boy/good girl. Sushang's mother literally disapproves of her associating with "hoodlums" (aka Guinaifen) while Sushang is teary-eyed like "BUT MOMMY I LOVE HER-!"
