Sunbeam Alpine Harrington Le Mans,1960
Presented in the Wildcards section of this year’s London Concours was one of 110 Sunbeam Alpine cars converted by Sussex coachbuilder Thomas Harrington Limited with full factory approval from the Rootes Group. From 1961 the cars were transformed from the standard Sunbeam Alpine convertible into a hardtop fastback coupe.

Ever since I saw To Catch a Thief as a child, I have had a yearning for a Sunbeam Alpine. It is such an attractive, capable road car with some competition successes in rallies.
