@officialromaniantranslatiuni​ I'm genuinely sorry about that! I really wouldn't classify my comment as any of those things. I was just calling a spade a spade. I love and respect women as a whole. I do not have to respect individuals. That's earned. But, again, i apologise. Lesson learned, this definitely wasn't the place for drama. I'll block people like her instead of retaliating. I'm just bad at handling bullying... pls no block  ^_^

I told you that I understood your point of view, I just didn't like the way things escalated. I get it that the other user didn't seem to eager to even try to understand what you said and I get it that it was a situation that would have made me angry as well, but those specific words were totally unnecessary.

So far s/he didn't react, so maybe she blocked me too, but I am glad that at least you and I made peace.

i imagine you won't like my reply, but anyway... i'm 30, have been struggling forever now. shit gets better but it takes a copious amount of time and effort. and good medication. without the impulse to get better, without wanting it, without relapsing 1000 times, no evolution can be achieved. it's healthy to want to get better. once you start working on yourself you realise that time is not on your side. the sooner the better, or watch your own life go by

Sure, people can grow in strengths and learn how to cope with their negative feelings and behaviors that are actively hurting them. However, this is something that an individual has to be empowered to do rather than something that is to be thrusted and forced upon them. Many mentally ill people don’t want to get better. that doesn’t make them bad. Many mentally ill people are “healthy”. mentally ill people who aren’t recovering aren’t wasting their lives, they are living their lives in the way that they want to which is much better than being forced and coerced into a system that tells them that they are bad and need to be changed and fixed. People need to be allowed to self-determine and make their own decisions and their decisions need to be respected.
