Gosh, I'm SO glad to see I'm not the only one who didn't care for Daniel/Vala. I watched SG-I after Farscape but still I went in with an 100% open mind and I HATED the way they were written. She deserved SO much better than him.

I really agree.  I hated the way he treated her, being grumpy and barely even acknowledging that she was there.   There’s a way to do that kind of relationship where one is funloving and provocative and one is ‘the straight guy’ but that is not how it’s done.  He never showed any respect for her, he never showed any interest in her; I just wanted Vala to end up with someone who appreciated her and showed that he/she appreciated her.  

But no there’s quite a few of us, we’ve formed a group now, so you can know you’re not alone :)

Happy birthday babe! And haha I know that feeling. I will be 31 in a couple months. I can't believe it sometimes. Honestly though, being in my 30's isn't a bad thing, but it's just terrifying to me that time is going by SO quickly.

I actually love that episode partly because of how mean they are to her. It really shows the humanity in all of them. It shows that the characters you thought were good through and through are actually just as likely to be hypocritical assholes.

Well, I wouldn't say they're "assholes". But yeah something like that. I just think it's mean. Because of the fact that they all aren't perfect either. They all have things they regretted doing too. I mean besides the fact that D'Argo really didn't kill his wife. But I'm sure he has something else that he regrets. Anyways, that's all beside the point.

I do get what you're saying though.

ik! they were giant hypocrites towards her, which i think was realistic, b/c people are like that in real life. i LOVED that john supported her 100% and showed no judgement. made me ship them even more! it's def one of my fav episodes. so emotional!

Oh my god don't get me started on that! Fuckkk I loved how he supported her too. I mean he was the only one that was there for her. When she was really upset he was the one who came to her and held her while she cried. And then he listened to her story..

But yes this ep is so emotional. I also love the ending where Pilot and Aeryn have their friendship moment.
