I wonder why I am here. Why you are here. Why everyone else is here. And what does "here" even represent? Our universe? Our galaxy? Our solar system? Our planet? Our species? Our society? Though there are plenty of possible reasons and answers, none can truly grasp and explain the gravitation of the situation. There are thousands of theories, games, novels, movies, etc. that merely scratch the surface of our lonely and miserable existence. Others would argue that our lives, and what transpires throughout them, are happening for a reason, that we have a destiny. Some would even assume that we are floating in a bed of chaos, having reality be randomly generated by an unknown force. There are even those who think Earth is a testing ground, acting as a road stop of redemption for the countless souls wishing to give life a second chance, in light of things they missed in their past lives/realities/existences. However, we can't be sure if anything is true. If fact is truly fact. If fiction is truly fiction. Maybe everything we, as a whole, believe in is a big fat lie, a misconception. No matter what the case may be, humans couldn't tell, ever. We are doomed to be left in the dark, left to defend ourselves and advance with resources and techniques at our own discretion. We make our own mistakes. We excel at our own activities. We are in control of our own fate and destiny, or not. Maybe everything has been laid down by one divine being, or multiply beings. Maybe we are here to face excruciating challenges, so that the ones after death won't be so difficult to face. Maybe one divine being had us created to bring down another, or the one in charge. On the other hand, we could be creations of nothingness, spawns of the Void. Or, we could be figments of somebody's or something's imagination, doomed to wonder the planes of Oblivion, in hopes of reaching some sort of final salvation from the horrors and tortures of this imprisoning hell. Maybe none of these theories are true. Life could have no meaning, and that's okay. We could be here just to be here. Our gods may have died and we are surviving on nothing, to create a better, and truly independent future. Could we have killed them? Shunned them? Disgraced them? Doesn't matter anymore, whether or not they are still watching over us. Think about it. All of it. Do not judge what I've said, for these are my thoughts, my opinions. However, do take into account what I've typed here. Take any part of it and keep it in the back of your head, whenever you wonder just as I have. With that, I wish the lot of you a very happy Sunday, and the rest of the week.
