This weekend I took some time to get outside and explore Chambersburg! A huge aspect of the @wilsoncollegemfa experience is centered around collaboration and community, while creating—I was happy to immerse myself in the process of exploring farmers market's, thrift stores, and local businesses and restaurants! Sunday mornings are lazy, sometimes I don't even get out of bed. And with legs-up-the-wall pose, you don't have to either! This stretch helps reduce anxiety, while reliving stress, stimulating circulation, and reduces swelling and tension in the feet, legs, and hips. Viparita Karani is an inversion, so just like those advanced #Yoga practitioners—who hold head and handstands—this pose has the same benefits! BUT you don't even have to get out of bed to practice. Now that's a fun #SundayStretchDay opportunity! I use this pose after travel, too—perfect for jet lag. Oh, and the best part? Holding this pose for 10 minutes, feels like a 3 hour nap!
