#SundayYAthon at Christmas: Roundup
It’s that time of year again! In August I hosted the #SundayYAthon for the first time, and it was so successful that I knew I had to host one for Christmas.
There were lots of books I wanted to read for the #SundayYAthon at Christmas, but in the end I settled on three. They were all festive in some way and sure to get me excited about the time of year.
My #SundayYAthon At Christmas TBR In the end though, I only got through two. The first was … And A Happy New Year? by Holly Bourne (5/5). This had been on my reading pile for a while, but I was saving it for the SundayYAthon. I have adored all three books in the Spinster Club series, and …AAHNY? didn’t disappoint. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it was the perfect way to say goodbye to Evie, Amber and Lottie. I then moved on to The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan (4/5). I read Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares last Christmas, so I was really looking forward to reading this. Although it wasn’t as light as the original, I still enjoyed it a lot. It was great to watch Lily grow as a character, and it ended in such a warm way that I couldn’t help but smile. All in all, the #SundayYAthon At Christmas was great fun once again, and it was great to see so many people getting involved! I may not have completed my TBR, but I had a great time reading some brilliant festive books. See you all at a #SundayYA chat soon!
