So, a few tiny headcanons:
When Janai gets angry, but not angry enough to enter ‘heat-being mode’ (yes, I’m calling it that until we get a proper name) her skin will occasionally get rougher and hotter to the touch anyway.
The marks on her face are always slightly warmer than the rest of her skin.
She’s learning Katolis sign language. Her progress is slow, but still better than she expected.
