Being culture positive is about spreading, prospering, teaching, learning and sharing. Thinking one race completely owns a culture is racism in itself. Your culture does not dominate the others. Learn to love my dear, you will be happier.
........culture positive? Yeah, actual people of a culture have sole rights to that culture. That's not racism. That's a fact. Never have I stated that South Asian culture should dominate over others. And it's up to people of that culture to decide whether or not they want to spread or share parts of their culture. Not for those outside the culture to decide. One can't just pick pieces and parts of other cultures that they like - that contributes to form of racial oppression. THAT'S racist.
Or cherries:)
I always think of the cherry trees near my grandparents house in Pennsylvania.
When I was a teenager, I would go up to PA for the summer. My grandparents house had no indoor plumbing nor electricity. They had a real outhouse.
My grandpa and I spent one summer when I was 15 or 16 making wine the whole time. We made grape wine, watermelon wine...and of course cherry wine from the wild cherries.
My grandpa had found an old beer keg that someone had disposed of....instead of turning it back to the distributor....in a sink hole in the woods. He cleaned it out and it made a nice wine keg.....
My grandpa also had some sort of wine pipe. You put tobacco in the bowl and some wine in a chamber....lit the pipe...and at some point....you'd get a shot of hot wine into your mouth...it was awful....lol.
Thank you for the words.
Balloons
For some reason, I always reference a song by Nena from 1983, "99 Luftballons" , which also had an English version called "99 Red Balloons"
