I have a question. So if ocs cost more due to not having any references images, what about those who already have artwork of them that you can base it off of? Does that decrease the price since you already have something to go by? Also, how would a pairing of an OC and canon character work for pricing? I’m sorry if you already answered these ;-;

Yeah so if your OC has already been previously designed, and has enough references for me to work off of, I would price that the same as a fanart commission. As long as a character has an established design I will consider artwork that I create of that character as fanart.An established design can include previously commissioned pieces of your OC, hopefully a drawing that has their entire look drawn out; I would prefer for the reference to be full-body showing their outfit and physical appearance as much as possible, but I would also accept half-body designs. Anything smaller than a bust design I would probably not consider an established design because it doesn’t show the entire characters look. As long as I have at least one front-facing, half-body reference drawing, that OC will have an established design to me. If your character has a really complicated outfit or armor, I might adjust the price based on complexity! If the design is really intricate it will require a lot of effort to recreate so that would be the only hold-up.  

If for instance you didn’t have an established design for your OC, but wanted a drawing of your OC with a canon character (like say you had an OC that you wanted drawn with Jaime Lannister in full-body) I would charge full price for the OC design ($75USD, if that doesn’t include extra props/animal companions that go with it) and then the additional character cost for the extra full-body canon character (which would be $55USD) instead of the full price cost of a full-body fanart commission which is $65USD.

The sun baked honey skin laid against the cold and damp forest floor. Her light caramel tresses encircled her head as she slept as soundly as someone could naked in a forest. She was too deep in sleep that she didn’t hear or smell or anything indicating the man that came upon her to interrupt her peaceful sleep. His boot slid under her ribs and gave her a small toss. The weightlessness was enough to stir her awake and even elicit a yelp. Her head shot up with nothing short of rage as her eyes shifted from their usual bluish purple hues to a burning gold.

“Dad! What the f—?!”“Language”“Ugh! Sorry. Dad, what the heck, man?”“Time to move, Tiny, you’re wasting daylight”

The tall blonde tossed a backpack at his daughter and she did her best not to glare at him. She snatched the bag after a moment of unaffected blue-green eyes stared blankly back at her. She started getting dressed with clothes that she had packed for this. The blonde man leaned against the tree, eyes gazing in the distance while in thought. The teen saw no better a time than this one as she stood there fully dressed. She rushed the blonde, meaning to serve a kick to his chest for waking her. Honestly, who does that? 

However, he wasn’t as distracted as he looked. He caught her by the ankle and shoved her back with such a force that she stumbled back about two or three feet before she fell, eyes only burning brighter with frustration. “Nice try, Tiny. Just like your mother, stubborn as a fucking mule”

“Language!”“I’m an adult”“I’m telling”“Who?”“... I was going to tell an adult... But you’re the only adult here... Fuck!” “Language!”

“You’ve got pretty hair. I’d like to braid it sometime~”

    Rosie was never one to know how to take a compliment. Much less, she sure as hell never knew how to interact with other women, and do typical ‘girly’ antics that the normal person would have experience in. Admittedly, the statement made towards her had Rosie freeze up momentarily and flounder over her words.

“ Uhhh…U-Um..”A warm heat flushed through her cheeks and tinted them in a shade best suited to her name. Her initial instinct is to search for a reason behind the sweet words, because who gave compliments for no reason? The smile on her lips is hesitant, twitching much like the rest of her features. She cuts off her own voice to keep herself from sounding any dumber , her shoulders sulking down with her tall ears dipping back suddenly. Her words caught in her throat.

There was no ultimatum her mind could find that Lauren would have to be nice to her. Did she really think her hair was pretty? 

She couldnt help how she mindlessly reached to brush her fingers through the soft curls in her thick hair that rest on her shoulder. Glancing down, she twirled the brown lock between her fingers. With attention brought to it, Rosie realized only then just how long it was getting as it grew at level to her chest… the perfect length for styling, which was knowledge she lacked beyond the basics.    It could be nice… she thought quietly to herself, and let the seconds of silence linger. Someone else playing with your hair…Then at last, the angel spoke. She rose her head up and fixed her bashful smile in thanks, the sort which crinkled the corner of her eyes with the smallest bit of glee. She steadied her voice with appreciative thanks,

“ I’ll admit I’ve never actually had my hair done by anyone else. I appreciate the compliment, and..”  she takes the chance in letting her guard down, brushing her hair back behind her. Rosie looked at Lauren timidly from beneath her lashes,

  “ I wouldn’t mind if you showed me some styles. I don’t often do my hair when i’m fighting all the time. Hero life is a messy affair.”

Crimson stained through bright red fabric, Inu-Yasha giving an indigent cough.  From the injury in the right side of his chest, a small trickle of blood made its way from his lip down to his chin, leaving darkened spots in the dirt by his feet.

“Looks worse than it is...” The hanyou attempted to shrug it off, though he knew he couldn’t fool anyone for long.  If nothing else, he allowed his robes to be peeled back for the wound to be tended, though he was obviously not happy about it.
