Hi! I know that it's been forever since anything Sunlit Gotham has happened. The inspiration was really struggling there for a (very long) sec, and when you add on to that general life stuff, not a ton of progress has been made until recently.
So, what can you look forward to?
Well, I'm currently involved in a writing challenge for a different fandom, and since this challenge has a strict timeline, that is taking most of my focus right now. But, once the writing for this is done (around mid-late September), I'll be able to start working on Sunlit. Here's the plan:
My Hero - By Bobby Richardson-Wayne has some more chapters I'd like to add to it.
The current chapter is Bobby and Sky's life through the first Percy Jackson series.
The second chapter would be the events of the Heroes of Olympus Series, as well as their introductions to the Wayne's and Kent's.
Chapter three would be a handful of events from Sunlit Gotham, but expanded on from Bobby's point of view. For example: What happened on Christmas during Sky's panic attack? What was going through Bobby's head during the expulsion attempt and the week of suspension? What about the aftermath of Sky and Nico shadow traveling from the Kent Farm for the competition, and leaving Bobby to answer any questions the Wayne's and Kent's had?
And the final chapter will be the lead up into the Sunlit Gotham Sequel - Scattered Light.
Scattered Light (a work in progress summary) - A strange, magical energy source has been travelling around the world, spending a week or two bouncing around a city, before moving on. The Justice League has been attempting to track it down as it has appeared in many of their home cities. When a flareup of the energy spikes nearby during Spartan and Signal's day-patrol they go to investigate, catapulting them through the multiverse. Now they must figure out how to get back home, all while dealing with the home-heroes of each dimension. It's one thing when the heroes are a team you've never heard of before (seriously, what kind of name is 'Avengers'?) but it's a different challenge to work with a Batman who's never had a Robin, an evil Justice League, or some weird variation of the Titans.

During the writing process of My Hero and Scattered Light I'm going to be going back through Sunlit and making minor Grammar edits as well as finally replying to comments. I swear that I have read every single comment that has come in, and I've loved them dearly. But I wasn't expecting the amount of people who would like my fic and was a little overwhelmed by all of the comments (in a good way!) and then executive dysfunction hit, and I ended up barely replying to anything.
So that's what's coming up! Posting (once it begins) will be every-other Thursday, as I've learned that posting weekly without having the whole work already written burns me out too quick and doesn't leave time for other hobbies.
So, the Sunlit Gotham Sequel (TBN) is officially underway in terms of planning/writing. I'm hoping to start officially posting in March, giving me some time to get a good handful of chapters done ahead of time so I'm not dedicating all of my free time to writing a chapter a week while posting (again)
That being said, I'm gonna be having some Twitter Thread convos in the first chapter (and maybe some later chapters - idk on that one) but I am apparently struggling hard with coming up with usernames/handles for it (keep reading below the line if you're interested in helping out)
I need help with handles (and maybe comments) for people who are:
Pro-Wayne's
Anti-Wayne's (or jaded towards the Wayne's)
Highschoolers from Sky's old school who would have made memes about a random kid from their school getting adopted by Bruce AND random Gotham Academy kids who would also be tweeting about it

People who are jerks online and don't really respect the privacy of celebs (if you've read certain MiraculousXBatfam fics where social media goes wild about Marinette maybe being a Wayne then you know the vibe I'm looking for with these people)
And finally, people who don't like the above category of people and come to the defense of the Wayne's/Kent's/Richardson's
So I guess if anyone has any suggestions and/or would like a cameo in Sunlit Gotham feel free to comment on this post or message me!
ALSO MEMES!!!! I will definitely take any memes you think people in Gotham would be making with a New Vigilante, New Wayne Kids, Bruce and Selina being engaged, and the fact that Mythological Stuff is real

Sunlit Gotham is an amazing Percy Jackson x BatFam fic. It’s over now, but you should definitely go read it! I looked forward every Thursday waking up and reading the update.

Well… maybe it all started when a kid from Gotham Academy went missing a little over a year ago. A kid who just so happened to be in Damian’s Third Grade Class.

Actually, how it really all started, was that Austin Lake created a Social Media Platform to promote his music online. And it all snowballed from there.

Direct Sequel to Sunlit Gotham - tackling the actual failing of the Mist, the fallout that it means for the myth communities, and the fact that there are now that mortals know they exist. There's a lot of political controversy (Kinda like the anti-meta fight all over again). Sky is gonna need to fight this on multiple levels, as the Spartan, but also as Skylar Richardson-Wayne, daughter of Bruce Wayne - who maybe has more sway on the political side of things. Not to mention school and being a teenager on top of it all :)

Skylar + Bobby in the Marvel Universe - Two options here, one focuses mainly on Sky starting with the original 2012 Avengers movie (will not stay canon to the MCU past a certain point) and the other focuses on both siblings and would put Sky at the same age as Peter Parker (definitely would not be canon to the MCU and would be more General Marvel Vibes from multiple variations)
Sky and Bobby in Transformers (Bayverse) Universe - Sky and Bobby are sent to visit their cousin - Sam Witwicky - and end up joining in on the race to find the Allspark
Various New OCs from various fandoms - I have a lot... it's maybe a problem
